Saturday, August 25th
Okay, we're at four days and counting, and I'm not even close to being ready. But as most of you well know, I'm a high-pressure performer, and everything usually works out. Right now, I've got a mixture of emotions: excited, nervous, anxious, amongst a plethora of others. I'm going to miss everybody a lot, particularly all of the friends I've made at the Fitness Edge over the past two years. Keep in touch and throw me a line whenever you can.

Thanks for cheering me up earlier. I hadn't recognized you at all when you drove up! I needed a bit of encouragement, today was really the first and only day where I truly felt frustrated with my lack of endurance in running. It was too cool of you to stop and help me perk up.
